Stardoll reaches 60 million members!

I know, I havnt updated in ages.. to be honest, I recently got a job and I am no longer an unemployed bumm! :) lol so I have had less time for stardoll and this blog.. not that anyone out there is reading this anyways :P lol but if you are, I'm truly sorry! As to where I work, I work at Winners (for those of you from the States, its like a Canadian Marshalls or TJ Maxx) I know, its not the coolest place on earth, but hey its my first retail job.. and noone else would hire me! Alright, so lets get down to business..  First of all, Philosophy was on sale, and left. Second, MissSixty's store randomly dissapeared (didnt go on sale), and the new season is now out! (older items can still be found in the search box) Third, Stardoll has become extremly greedy with their new bazaar settings where they take 50SD for a 500SD sale.. talk about high interest rates! Finally, Stardoll finally reached its 60 MILLION goal! Ok, so thats all for now, I know this is the worst summary ever of the past couple of weeks but the weather outside is beautiful and I really want to go out before the sun's gone! :) xoxx

PS. If you're wondering what I did with my first paycheck, well I took a little trip to the Michael Kors store and bought myself a nice black leather bag. Do I feel guilty about spending my first two weeks paycheck on one item? Not at all, it was totally worth it! lol

So what do you think of the collection? I bought alot of the interior items (shelves, racks, carpet, etc.) but only a few clothing items (3 dresses & pants).. I dont know, i didnt really like the kiddyish tshirts or the shoes that much.. Anyways, here it is!

Antidote in Spoilers?!

There were some images today in spoilers.. and they seem to be part of the new antidote collection.. Personally, from what I have seen in spoilers, I think this collection looks AWEFUL and Im really praying that some nice designs will show up in spoilers tomorrow.. Otherwise I think alot of people will be really disapointed with this one.. :( Anyways, here's 2 images from the spoilers! :)

BLOOM EDITION's 2nd issue is OUT!

Owned and edited by Lizs, BLOOM EDITION is a wonderful new magazine that released its first issue on April 13, 2010. Their second issue was released a few days ago, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the work that was put into making this magazine. The graphics are amazing, the models are beautiful, the writers are very talented, and the overall appearance of the magazine is phenomenal. The magazine covers a number of topics, from makeup tips to fashion trends, to their very own catwalk. The catwalk was a new addition to this issue, and I think thats its a great idea. It consists of three complete outfits designed by the magazine's owner, Lizs. My favourite would have to be the second dress, known as the Bloom Edition Trashed Paint dress. This dress uses the splattered paint prints (a trend also discussed in this magazine) in a very creative and  sophisticated manner. Although this trend is not made the focal point of this outfit, it makes a wonderful final touch that is very settle yet crucial. I would love to see some more designs from Lizs and other designers on the third issue of the magazine. In conclusion, I encourage anyone reading this to take a minute and go check out the magazine at http://www.bloomeditionmag.wordpress.com/ , trust me, you wont regret it!
